The way you fit so perfectly around me; constantly hugging me as I move about the room. Catching the chalk dust as it flies off the blackboard and refusing to remain wrinkle free. Keeping me warm on the chilly days but allowing a cool breeze to relieve me during the heat of the summer. Flattering my figure with your well sewn seams and thoughtful attention to comfort. All chosen with care and attention; designs sketched, embroidery selected, suitable patterns purchased.
You are meniň köyneklerim. You are my dresses.
Yes, people, much of my happiness rests in the simple fact that I love getting dressed in the morning. I love the unity I feel standing side by side with my coworkers, delivering fabulous English lessons while wearing even more fabulous velvet dresses. I love that Turkmen women always notice a new dress and never hesitate to congratulate you on fine mata (material) and a beautiful yaka (embroidery). Literally, women congratulate one another when they make new purchases and rock their new threads. It is such a simple pleasure here that I already dread leaving behind. Year two goal: learn how to sew!

Your dresses are beautiful, and they are very becoming on you — I like to imagine them trying to catch you as you move so quickly from place to place. Can you tell I really liked your 1st person POV?
Where did someone find that GORGEOUS mata in IMG 5313?
Still praying for your health & safety. So glad that God is keeping you in His hand and answering our prayers for you.
